My therapeutic approach
My approach is integrative and I will draw on a range of perspectives, mainly psychodynamic, humanistic and existential, to support your journey through therapy.
In our work together, we will be curious about your inner psychological world: your feelings, thoughts, beliefs and values, the memories you store, consciously or unconsciously.
We will be attentive to your body, which carries you and which you carry: what it senses, how it reacts, the intentional use you make of it and what happens when it takes over.
We will also be mindful of the socio-cultural histories you inhabit, your experiences of marginalisation and privilege, and how they have shaped your life.
Embracing diversity
I want to offer you an inclusive, affirming and anti-oppressive space, welcoming all aspects of your identity: your culture, religion, race, class, neurotype, ability/disability status, gender, sexuality and relationship structure.
At the heart of what I do is the conviction that meaningful healing and change can happen through our connections with others. Through developing a warm and collaborative relationship, I am here to create a bridge of understanding between us, allowing you to feel witnessed and valued.
My deep interest in working with diverse identities helps me hold your unique background and life experiences with sensitivity and care.
